	7000 BCE would be Jericho or Çatal Hüyük.  I haven't
heard of any writing found at those ultra-ancient
sites.  If there is any, I'd sure like to hear about
it!!!

	Also.  ISTR that Aleph was originally a symbol for
"oxen".  I think that the Phoenician alphabet was
developed from Egyptian Demotic of ~ 1600 BCE.  Can
anyone add more light?
