VMS -- Botany (f47r)

It turns out that the botanical drawing in f47r appears to be somewhat
easy to identify. There seems to be very little doubt about the identity
of this plant. It is most likely Alchemilla vulgaris (Rosaceae), also
known as Lady's mantle (after Our Lady the Virgin Mary), lion's  foot,
bear's foot, leontopodium, Pied-de-Lion, and Frauenmantle. Other related
species include Alchemilla alpina, Alchemilla mollis, and Alchemilla
