VMS -- Botany (f07v) Polygonum
Possibly a variety of Polygonum or Persicaria with its conspicuous dot
on the leaves. The inflorescent flower buds appear correct and there is
a sheath called an ocreas in Polygonum which may be what can be seen at
the base of the plant shoot in the VMS drawing for f07v. What seems
difficult to locate, however, are species with hairy leaves.
