RE: Edward Kelley...?




The table I used as a reference for Kelley's numerals was in Sloane MS 3189, pp 58-59. The page numbering was in pencil (in brackets, as I remember), and seemed roughly to correspond with the order of pages in which they appear in that MS.

The diagram comprised a large circle, containing five 7x7 magic squares arranged in a cross. The central magic square's squares are numbered in order 1B, 2B, 3B... 49B.
