VMS -- Botany (f33v) Sunflower?

While there has been a certain amount of excitement and controversy over
the identification of the botanical drawing in f33v as being a match for
the Sunflower plant, it seems to me that Pulicaria dysenterica could
readily compete with the Sunflower, though at this point I am not
convinced that either plant is the correct match.
