for endings - EVA "s" might be "Taurus"-as-ending, whereas EVA "eo" or "oe"
might represent "Taurus"-in-the-middle. Of course we have to be careful with
our conjectures, as the simplicity of the basic symbols invites to a myriad of
speculations.
One of questions to be answered to confirm the AAH is: do we find all signs/
planets in EVA? Some of the symbols used in the second ring of f57v hardly
occur in the text, for instance "x", which supposedly stands for Jupiter.
Nick Pelling suggested that "q" would also be a good choice for Jupiter,
and I think that also "qo" serves the same purpose.
One of the oddest symbols used in f57v is the sign for Cancer (EVA &199).
After careful re-examination of the text, it seems not altogether unlikely to me
that EVA "dy" as well as EVA "oy" could be interpreted as shorthand versions of
EVA &199.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Bernd

Hi Bernd & Nick and all :-)
I too like nicks planetary AAH pursuit, but I see his "rings" on my
filio 54v ... is f57v the same? ... my 54v is from
http://highway49.library.yale.edu/PHOTONEG/zoom/z361/z36110554.jpg
The circles on this page start with 4 people "reaching around the
middle to one another"... I think it was Nick that suggested the "4
seasons?" (Winter) as top. oddly it goes COUNTER Clockwise to my way
of thinking (mirror.image?) as 9 (Spring) looks like long lush hair
growth figure..6 o'clock ties Spring to 3 o'clock (FALL) and harvest
time and she is losing hair (and indeed - is fruitful - see hand)..
Long shot here, BUT IF this is / are the "4seasons" and NICK has
found the planets (7? at that time?) in the next rings.. wouldn't it
be likely that one of the 8 names (2 sets of 4) in the very CENTER of
this ringset ... Be 1) Winter, 2) Spring, 3) Summer, 4) FALL (with
fruit in hand)
