Painful admission - my original idea was that the first two sign symbols of 
the second set of 17 (in the 17 x 4 ring) were substantially different from 
the other three sets, and that these would (therefore) be the missing 
symbols for Scorpio and Sagittarius.

But now, having carefully printed them out beside each other to 
double-check this, I have to admit that I was wrong (sorry):-
(a) Capricorn is slightly more stylised in set #2, but it's basically <EVA 
m m m m>
(b) Aquarius is drawn (in order) as <EVA f f p p>

All the same, the basic identification of the 17 symbols still looks very 
strong (even if we don't now have glyphs for Scorpio and Sagittarius 
anywhere on this ring): but (b) does suggest that EVA f and p are 
identical, which has also been suggested independently a number of times in 
the past.

For example, my state-machine hypothesis test results indicated that the 
statistics of the characters following EVA f and p (up to the next state 
change) looked extremely similar, though the same didn't appear to be true 
of EVA cfh and cph... make of that what you will.

Some character groups that I didn't really mention in my last email that 
might be plausible candidates for any missing signs like Sagittarius 
(assuming that the planet-planet conjunctions have a different meaning 
altogether, which I think is reasonably likely) are:-

        EVA c'h - some (or all) of the embellished "picnic tables"
        EVA ey          - a common combination in many places (IIRC)

The picnic tables (with a swoosh) could be concealing the arch of a hidden 
bow: and the ones with a detached caret could be concealing a hidden 
arrowhead shape. But ey is also extremely frequent, so who knows?
