Paduan Carrara Herbal...

Hi everyone,

The British Library's Curator of Manuscripts tells me that the Paduan 
Carrara Herbal is more accurately referred to as the Serapione Herbario 
Volgare, and is catalogued within the BL's manuscript collection as British 
Library MS Egerton 2020.

He also points out that it has been mentioned in P.M. Jones, Medieval 
Medical Miniatures (London, 1984), and in O. Pächt, 'Early Italian Nature 
Studies', Journal of Warburg and Courtauld
Institute, XIII (1950), pp. 13 ff - both of which sources seem highly 
likely to reward further study.
