Yes similar! THIS particular upper Left mayweed?, was shown to me by
ES... I remember the figure and ES saying essentially "Hello World!"
for the Birth to be.. 
  As far as the sperm (DOTS) I think the microscope was invented
later, but the mortar/pestle could "powder" chalk or even EGG shell to
such a fine powder (DUST?) that if added to water - could look very
much like seman in cloudyness.. The tails of sperm would be seen
later?  (I've actually done this myself at home - looking at it's
calcium) smashing eggshell to a fine dust, i mean :-)
