VMS -- Botany (f25v) Monocot/Dicot
The leaves in the VMS plant drawing in f27v show venation running
parallel to the edge of the leaves such as is seen in Iris. This is an
indication that the plant is a Monocot. Plants that have leaves with
netted venation are typically Dicots. For example, Mandrake leaves and
tap roots distinguish it as a Dicot and therefore it would be ruled out
as a match for the plant drawing in f27v.
