VMs: astro-nymphs?

I have just come across this picture:

where it seems there are nymphs (some naked) on the sphere of
the Zodiac. Also the diagrams in the four corners look vaguely
VMS-like. There seems to be a lot of text in them - and some
"labels" (bottom-right diagram) also similar to the VMS.
The T-map in the top-left diagram is equally intriguing.
Unfortunately, it is totally illegible on this reproduction
so it can't be decided if the text is in Latin alphabet
or not.

The description just says "from a 16th c. manuscript". Does 
anyone know where it may come from?
