VMs: Plumbing / pipework...!?!??!

Hi everyone,

You may (or may not) be thoroughly excited to know that the Institute of 
Plumbing ( http://www.plumbers.org.uk/ ) published in 1998 a book by 
Charles Knevitt called "Well Washed and Watered", a history of plumbing 
from 9000BC to the present.

Personally, I was more excited to find out that the IoP is based in Station 
Lane, Hornchurch - a place I had hitherto thought to be devoid of all human 
life. Obviously I was completely wrong. :-)

Sadly the British Library has somehow overlooked this book - but I will, of 
course, endeavour to get hold of a copy of it, and will be sure to post my 
findings to the list. :-)
