My original glyph count
was somewhere between 32 and 36, but my new transcription methods have produced
48 unique glyphs in the first 25 (about 12%) pages . What I find
interesting is the observation that even though I have expanded the
consideration of character identification, the number of characters on any given
page has suffered no dramatic change, remaining at between
20-24.
No scribble I have read
to date gives real meaning to the various wierdo characters, but I think I might
be able to fill that writing gap to some extent. I'm grouping variations
and identifying patterned similars, with much success. "There is a logic",
as D'Imperio has stated, and I believe I've captured that
logic.
