VMs: BBC

I talked to Mr. Copeland of the BBC. He seems quite a nice fellow and I
didn't get the impression he was after a sensationalist story. Why he talked
with me - is a mystery to me - but I told him about my pictorial
"researches" and the "not quite likenesses" that I had found. But I also
told him that there are much more knowledgeable old-timers on the list. And
I gave him some e-mail adresses.

I'm sending him the most recent postings to the VMS-mailing-list now, so you
don't have to do that anymore.

I haven't done anything Voynichese lately. The closest I came was in
Ebstorf, during my holidays where I saw the (copy on goat vellum) of the
Ebstorf Mappamundi. Very impressive, like all the decorations of the
monastery and the old stained glass windows. However nothing vaguely
Voynichese. I bought a thick book on the Mappamundi, but haven't read it
yet - not even unpacked it. Anything I should look up for anyone?

Are you still interested in more traslations from the "Flora Magica"? I can
pick that up again.

Off subject > The Externsteine are really great to visit. We were lucky that
it rained. In top season it must be extremely busy given the size of the
parking place and the restaurant. Just like the Hermannsdenkmal. And I saw
tons of megalithic sites and musea all through Northern Germany - wonderful
...
