Well, this inspired me and maybe I have found something.
Regulus is the _figura_ of 7 Leo. When we look at the Leo
diagram in the VMS and start counting the nymphs from the
one on the ascendant (slightly higher, actually) in the inner
circle, and then down (just as in the _Astromagia_ diagrams),
the seventh nymph seems to have a crown on her head.
And Regulus means "little king"!
Logically, one of the labels near her (left/right/above) should
expand to "Regulus" or to a description of its _figura_
(a man riding on a lion).
The next Leo degrees correspond to some well known constellations:
8 - Leo [burning fire]
9 - Ursa Minor [a well-dressed man]
10 - Perseus [a man of feminine appearance;
in another MS: a death/skeleton with a scythe]
11 - Andromeda [a woman drawing up her dress and showing her womb]
One MS also has the correspondences of 10 and 11 reversed.
Best regards,
Rafal
