Speaking of old World Charts, this bird in the Asia section of the 'Atlas
Catalan' (Mallorca, XIV Century - today in the BNF), slightly shares some
drawing patterns with the one in f68v3. An ealy influence for our creative
illustrator?

The quest for artistic fingerprints of the VMS artist/author in medieval
animals, plants, castles and zodiac signs is now more active than ever... we
can only hope that the first fortunate unquestionable match will occur
within our generation.
