While going through it, and wanting to look at
the pages he was talking about, I realised that
what we desperately need (to improve feedback
on mails like this) is a set of small-sized
images of all VMs pages. Just a few kByte JPEG
each. The mails could then include links to these
images. I am thinking about something slightly 
bigger than 'thumbnail' size.
It should be big enough so that an E-mail referring
to a particular herbal page allows the reader to
judge whether the plant does look like a female
mandrake, like the writer is claiming, or not.

Now, of course, instead of writing this, I could
have just gone ahead and created these files. I do
have the space available at www.voynich.nu 
But maybe I am lazy or maybe I really don't have
the time. (Of course it is the latter...  My web 
site would be far more up to date if I had...)

Anyone who is willing to do the job of taking one
of the available on-line pictures for each of the
pages and convert it to a playing-card-size image,
would do us all a great favour.
I would be willing to host them at my site, but
perhaps they can also go to www.voynich.net (the
mailing list host site).

Any takers?
