As far as I know the word bahb does not exist in Arabic. The Pleiades
are thurayya, which is derived from thawr "Taurus", and I do not see
how one gets Russian baba from <doaro>, short of a polyalphabetic
cipher. If bahb did exist in Arabic it would have been borrowed into
Russian as something like bagb or bakhb, and if Arabic had borrowed
Russian baba, it would have been as "baba" (ba, alif, ba, alif).
