VMs: Bab/Bav/Bava & the VMS "alphabet" .

Hi Bob:

Actually the Mishnaic Hebrew and Aramaic for "gate" is Bava (as in Bava
Metzia).

And don't forget the pig-Latin found in the last page of the VMS ("dabas
michi multos cccrc portas" : "to me you were giving many gates...") bad
grammar and all.

And I'll save a discussioin of the two Hebrew letter combination
"Kabbalistic gates" for later...

"Bab" - no consonantal "h" in it - is an Arabic (also Hebrew and Aramaic)
word for "gate".

The founder of Bahá'i called himself "the Báb".

I've always felt some kinship with a religion started by a guy named Bob.

P.S. Particularly since I'm a physician - don't even TALK to me about the
"Dr. Bob" who allegedly founded the (Erisian) Church of the Subgenius.
