Interesting! While it is likely to be accurate,
we should not forget that George himself might
not have had it that accurately. I have no idea
if the error would amount to more than a degree
but some care is necessary.
In Trebizond's days, the horoscope would be
based on the Alfonsine tables. These would have
contained errors. People like Tycho and Kepler
were very much aware of these and had to make
newer observations (eventually leading to the
Rudolfine tables, yes, 'our' Rudolf.)
Now since George was very much a specialist,
he may well have been aware of errors in the
Alfonsine tables, or used his own methods, in
which case we really don't know much...

Just to get it right: is that his response to
the possiblity that the VMs might be from George T.?
If you mentioned the VMs to him, did you get the
impression that he had heard about it?
