Hey, hey, hey! Wait a minute. What feature do you mean? Voynich glyphs
never appearing next to each other? That is a feature of French, English,
Italian, Spanish, just about any language written in the Roman alphabet.
For instance, glyphs q and p never appear next to each other in English,
French, Italian, German, Spanish, Basque, Finnish, Swedish.... and so on.

Ok, seriously though, what I actually meant was: any proposed solution has a lot of constraints it needs to satisfy simultaneously, if it is to map to the behaviour we see (and know and love). :-)

The *particular set* of apparent letter adjacency rules (as opposed to the idea of "letter adjacency in general") form one such constraint, and there are many others...
