I seem to remember once having read of some software
which semi-automated this process using its built-in
thesaurus, which might speed things up a bit. It was
a couple of years ago (in print) and I cannot recall
much except that at the time I did wonder why anyone
would want to bother. One might try Googling perhaps?
But on experimenting, I find it is quite quick to do.
