Sorry, I can't really tell (either/or/both?) whether the faces are male or 
female. I have never met either one of them. It is what is below the neck 
that counts. Perhaps a further understanding of the plant involved may give 
additional evidence. While certain herbals may be applied for sex specific 
purposes, I do not know if that is meant to be the case here.
