VMs: Gillogly the VMS icon

Hey all,

I'm actually reading the info on your sites, *trust me*!  Seriously, I am,
and I'm finding it very rewarding that many of the "newer" sites are
following the lead of our founding icons and tempering their fancies with
real Voynich facts.  There's a lot of keen insight reflected in these sites
and I for one am astounded at the level of scholarship you all go to when
discussing the VMS.  Here in Texas lately, the trend has been to keep
repeating something until it becomes the truth.  Some of the accepted
"facts" here are so outlandish I could do a "Lake Wobegon" serial on the
locals!  Ooh!  Way off topic again. Excusee.  Back on topic now.

I'm wondering if someone would be interested in producing an icon and script
for Jim Gillogly's Voynich Ms. Mailing List HQ.  This involves an image/icon
that sits on a site (preferably Jim's), with a script that can be cut and
pasted into each of our web pages, that would guide the visitor directly to
Jim's site.  As list headquarters, Jim's site should be the top of any list,
but is missing on many VMS related sites.  A cut-and-paste script that links
to an icon on Jim's site would be ideal for visual recognition on all our
sites, and I for one would proudly display it.
I'd create the icon myself, but I'm simply not an artist.  The script I can
handle if no one is interested in creating the whole thing.

I suppose I ought to pass this by Jim first, but I think that an icon script
for each of our sites would be sort of an "I belong" statement and an
indicator to those who routinely search for VMS sites that the person who's
site they're visiting is a member, even if they don't always participate. [I
haven't asked Jim because he scares the heck out of me.  He's soooo
awesome!!:-)]
