Hi!
I actually checked this last Friday but had no time
to respond (work :-/ ).
The original foliation comes from D'Imperio and
has been popularised on the mailing list by Jim
Reeds.
His original checklist is on the rand.org web
site (also mirrored by Jorge Stolfi).
Everything that is on the 6-page foldout (either
as part of the rosettes, or on the reverse, which
has 6 individual pages) is referred to as:
f85/86 followed by r or v, followed by a number 1-6.
For consistency with all other VMs pages, I
introduced the convention (in transcription files
and on my web site) that everything to the left
of the binding (when looking at the rosette) is
f85 and everything to the right of it is f86.
This is also reflected in the interlinear file
on Stolfi's web site.
So, when in D'Imperio the page is called
f85/86r2, then I preferred to call it f85r2
See:

I have not checked, but could imagine that Takeshi
uses f86 for all pages.
Hope that clarifies.
Rene
