VMs: Voynich number sequences

Looking at page one of the manuscript with the Chinese symbols in red you
can see embedded number sequences when the page is viewed upside down. The
number 86868 can clearly be seen. As well as 680, 802, 6020, amongst others.
This almost certainly means that the code if any has a highly numerical
base. Whether this base merely determines the letter forms or is a
calculated part of the code is unclear.

Having the page upright and mirroring it vertically we begin to see forms
like the letter P, G and S beginning the word forms. The gallows forms then
takes on a double L type of appearance.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't our modern numbering system originate
in the Middle East from Arabic Languages? Seems to me that when the Islamic
state was being overrun, when their knowledge was being destroyed by the
invaders, that they might have had the foresight to hide some of this for
safe keeping.

Not that I mean this is an original Islamic text, but like all works born of
religion they tend to be copied down the generations. After all, the early
Islamic civilizations had perfected medical techniques which involved the
removal of cataracts as well as building knowledge in other spheres of
science.

Some think that if this knowledge had not been lost when it was we would
have had space travel centuries ago.

I leave these ideas with you. Try the mirroring idea with images of the
pages in various ways using an image editor and you'll see what I mean.
