hexadecimal (base 16) divided in 1/2 or 'mirrored' is "8!" (cCOOLL :-)
THAT could help explain the _Flipping Mirror_ also.
Are there any countries (or languages) that could have used this base
16? How old are BASE NUMBERs?
oldest I can think of is NOAH's ARK (animals 2x2x2x2.... etc..)

Hang on to your hats because you are NOT going to believe this! The Voynich
Manuscript is written in hexadecimal, or at least the first page is. I know
you aren't going to belive me but look closer. I may be just too tired, I
don't know, but I've been working with hex numbers I almost dream in hex.
That's what I've found. Tell me if I'm wrong.
