Well I never understood your method Steve. Anyway I have a radically new
idea which I'm going to try out with a delphi program. And I think I'm
definately on the right track. With it I can produce VMS character pairs at
will and place them at the same positions as in the VMS text with the right
pattern matches. I will say no more for now. If I am right then it all hangs
on a simple twist to an old cipher. So simple yet so ingenious. Something no
one has even mentioned on the list. I will post my results as soon as time
permits me to carry out the tests.
P.S. It might make more sense of your ideas than you might think.
