I've been meaning to email the curator in charge of the VMS at the Beinecke 
for a good while about a load of different things, so I'll use this as an 
excuse to kick me into action. :-)

I should perhaps warn that the last time I contacted them about 
photonegatives etc, the person responsible for them had just left their 
post, and the person who had been asked to take over the reins seemed less 
than comfortable with the idea, which might have led to some of the 
problems we've run into over the last year or so - hopefully this has been 
resolved now. :-o
