Re: VMs: Codex Seraphinianus...?
Hi Francois et al :-)
*WHY?* is the Codex Seraphinianus "NOT VOYNICH"?
~Strange (& beautiful) Writing(s) _BOTH_!~ But,
Firstly.. While another beautiful scripted MS, IT's CODE has "Periods"
or "DOTS" incorporated in its matrix as "pointers" the Voynich is
severly lacking in ANY punctution markers of any kind. PERIODS
especially!!!!
The Codex Seraphinianus "IS NOT VOYNICH"
Secondly.. The "Elaborate Glyphs" (while beautiful too) are way more
_complex_ individually then found in the Voynich (lower case VMS
esp.) ALSO, Seems the author was fond of the "french curve" etc..
The Codex Seraphinianus "IS NOT VOYNICH"
Thirdly.. *IF* (and no, I have not tried to break codex personally,
just learned of it (but have seen it now)), IT (Codex Seraphinianus),
uses a matrix coding, it is of one+one+ONE KEY - Where the VMS can use
up to 8+ _seperate_ KEYS (recent 'VMS EXPERT' opinion via 10.6.2000
ES)
The Codex Seraphinianus "IS NOT VOYNICH"
Also, "I LOOKED at IT" (albeit via the internet here) (smiles) and it
simpily doesn't "look the same" as Voynich MS scripting: what can I
say? - sorry!!
Best to you & yours

ps. This is not to say the VMS could not be DEcoded French in origin.
