My attempts to reproduce a hoax have shown that some of the allegedly
complex features of the VMS are actually quite easy to hoax, but others
aren't... Would anyone be interested in a digest of this, if I post it on
my Website?

Absolutely - as I've said from the start, rigorously examining (ie both qualitatively and quantitatively) the construction necessary to generate a hoax is no different to reaching out towards the construction of a coding system, or perhaps even of a universal (or artificial) language... so there should be plenty of interest there for nearly everyone! :-)
