RE: VMs: Voynich Conference: preliminary description... [RFC!]
<ajb> asked about webcasting. If any of the "regulars" can handle this
already, please ignore the rest of this message. If not, I should be
able to arrange webcasting via friends of mine in the web-radio
business. The cost of the stream would depend on the length of the
broadcast, and the number of simultaneous viewers to be supported -
but in any event it should be fairly nominal. However, someone will
have to provide a PC, webcam and microphone (the alternative is to
hire the required equipment, or to use my very old webcam).
I'll need to double-check the availability of the stream at least a
few days in advance, so please let me know if people want me to follow
this up. Please note - our streaming licence technically requires the
event to be non-profit-making.
Best wishes, Mike

And my own pennyworth - would it be possible for anyone to arrange a
live web-cast for those of us who would really really want to attend
but
won't be able to?
Regards
Anthony
