Re: VMs: Opinions wanted

Well this is a decryption method I am working on. Words appear only infrequently because I believe I have found a multi-table lookup that may be used by the VMS. Using this method words will come and go depending upon which table is used for which part of the text. I have to work out the exact structure of all tables used. The first part was a test and used the first version of the tables I produce. I found errors in my construction and so the second part should be seen as the best attempt.

Hi Jeff,

some of the strings in the second part are latin or are *almost* latin words, viz.

>hdeea.etdl.s.drao.arl.arce.necva.e.tt.arln
arca, a citadel
nec, not
>ate.bs.oec.e.tac.erao.ps.sv.ns.ns.vm
ero, I err
erro, I wander
>aeafc.afte.t.etao.ari.nose.nva.isao.ad

>epd.arn.neoee.lei.eone.oaeee.iam.et.toa
iam, now, already
>iao.ara.qi.arn

>nar.tare.laco.lml.ndm.ariam.abd.iao

>iam.ohm.ei.uao.euam.en.nam.vm.ne.tue

>ero.arl.af.tupd.gvdle.vaeam.iam.beia

raricae ?
>ioo.ei.iam.ndl.is.afs.tao.is.pd.neseee

BTW, I am not a latinist, as you may have guessed :) just studying latin
of course, a lot of the second part isn't latin either.

Regards,
Brett
