I'm not certain this old computer (brought out of retirment when my
newer one went kablooy) could handle PDFs what would really suit me is
GIFFs or JPEGs on ZiP disks.

Thank you. From what little I've read on the Voynich there seems to be
assumptions and techniques that have never been tested, but my purpose
in joining the list was to discover if that was true - never mind
reinventing the wheel I want to avoid rediscovering flint knapping!

My son NOW tells me there was a documentary shown on the discovery
channel recently where the Voynich was shown to some London herbalists
and they identified most of the plants - I could kill him for not taping
it <arrgh!>.
