The same description notes that this MS is written
on paper in an English secretarial hand.
Are any MSs from this time frame, from the UK, 
written on parchment?

The interesting bit about the second one is that
the usual starting point Aries is not near the
top of the figure. Also, the artist has clearly
never seen a lion, a picture of a lion,
or a good picture of Leo.
