Most historical scripts are now proposed (and some are already
accepred by the Unicode Consortium) for Plane 1. The major exception
are some 40,000 of additional Chinese characters of historical
interest which will be on Plane 2.
To see which scripts are on Plane 1 and what their status is,
have a look at:
http://www.unicode.org/roadmaps/smp
And - yes, there is Sumero-Akkadian and Archaic-Sumero-Akkadian
there - and obviously Rongo-Rongo, too.
The problem is that most software do not support higher planes yet.
Best regards,
Rafal
