Well done!
You've found some excellent sources and it really
confirms some things that were only suspected
until now; especially the specific reference to
Beckx' private library being moved from the
Collegio Romano to 'outside Rome'.

What's left of Petrus Beckx' private library is
now in the ARSI (also called ARSJ) in Rome.
This re-opened near the Vatican in 1930 or 1931.

The things that the Jesuits could not rescue ended
up in the Roman State Library Vittorio Emanuele II
in Castro Pretorio (Rome). They own a 'Fondo
Gesuitico' which could include all sorts of material
of interest for us.

'Exaten' once intrigued me since it was quoted to
be in Holland (my native country), but I'd never
heard of it and it does not exist on any map.
It turned out to be the name of a castle, which
was used as a Jesuit school, and is now a restaurant,
if I recall correctly. It is in a small town
called Baexem. Interestingly, a Google search
now gives a number of good hits - not so a couple
of years ago when I last looked.

Have you seen the following link?
http://www.pib.urbe.it/doc-vari/martina_90mo.html

I have other references on my web page, several
articles copied from a historical journal which are
worth reading. There were more articles in it
which I did not copy and are probably still worth
checking:
Roma Moderna e Contemporanea, anno III, no. 3, 1995.
It was not easy to get in Germany. I had to get
it through a friend in Italy. It might not
be easy for you in N.America either.

Cheers, Rene
