VMs: A little help wanted

I have tried a decryption test on the vms but don't know Italian so I have
no idea if I am getting anywhere. I would appreciate anyone with a knowledge
of 16 century Italian to try to fill in any blanks. I need the partial words
completed as I am now a little stuck as to what to add next.

Dots mark word boundaries although I am currently unsure if they are
spurious or not.
