methinks IT is *Simpler than you think* (per ES)!, no need for double
or triple (or +MORE) _cross de/codings_ (scramblers)!, Your 1st
reversal IS following the ~path~ and _mirror_ that GC had seen here
too: earlier however :-)

please, just, try using each ~gallows~ for your 'hinge character':  
(below) as you encounter it in any of the text.... "read" IT (AFTER
Flipping KEY/Template) left to right.

"decode it" via flipping (mirroring) the "template"/KEY/new postition
of character(s) @ the next appearing ~gallows~ (or switching point).

& keep it _simple_! (per ES)!
p.s. & "IT's also OLDER than you think" too, (per ES)!
