I read Robert Lindner's story about "Kirk Allen" a
long time ago. Carl Sagan mentioned the story in "The
Demon-Haunted World". I've thought about it myself in
relation to the VMs. Of special interest, at this link
I see that "Kirk Allen" 's opus contained:

Allen also spoke and wrote in an "Olmayan" language
whose derivation Lindner does not discuss. Lindner
said that there was a one-to-one correspondence between
Allen's future history and real childhood events in his
life. Perhaps "Olmayan" was derived from the
Polynesian language of his childhood.

Yet one more putative VMs analogue, as though we
needed another... Certainly like "Martian", and much
more sophisticated, if true.
