I have long held the opinion that the upper circle
of folio f68r1 is
a drawing of a coin. It differs considerably from
the other circle
on this folio and those on f68r2.
There are three lines of writing (rendered in
EVA):
yky, dary, chkchykoly
I tried a coin name on the longest word, and this
is the result:
ch k ch y k o l y
s e s t e r
i t
9 6 9 3 6 1 5
3
d a r y
* * * t
8 * 2 3
y k y
t e t
3 6 3
The numbers are by the correspondences of
f49v.
In astronomical terms, the folio represents an
alignment
of the Moon and Mars (with the upper circle
being Mars)
in Taurus on 26 Dec 1533.
So the coin might be a bust of Aries. But so far
I've
struck out finding a match.
