Only if we accept the possibility that Voynich himself
was part of the hoax (either producing the entire VMS or
linking it with the Marci/Baresch/Kircher letters).
Otherwise, it is pretty certain that Sinapius owned it
(to me, at least). There is at least one other manuscript
know that is signed in the same place and with the same
form of his name as the signature that used to be seen on the VMS
(see: http://hum.amu.edu.pl/~rafalp/HERM/VMS/manus.htm ).
Unless, of course, Voynich faked the signature he had seen
elsewhere.
