Fw: VMs: digital imaging project

Some additional comments concerning the "Jacobj a Tepenece" signature at the bottom of f1r that have been puzzling me are that it was written letter for letter and is note a script written signature. It also does not appear to have been 'erased' in the conventional sense, such as with an 'eraser' or scraper. It may just have 'faded away' or it may have been removed chemically. It is almost as though someone other than Tepenece penned the 'signature', though there is no real basis for making this observation. Just some observations to consider.

Yes, I believe I do see what you are referring, though it will take a bit of work to make out. I am also a bit curious about what the 'additional text' says on f116v in the top right and lower left of the 'white space'. Maybe just bleed through, but from where?

I'm going to take Jim's suggestion and try to get a TIFF file. According to the website,
it comes in 400 dpi resolution.

I've noticed on the darker copy at the top, starting over the fourth word, is what
looks like a signature.  Can you see that?
