I think it is extremely useful to have something like
a 'scrap book' of the Voynich MS in a page by page
fashion. That is: for every page collect all relevant information, fact, hypotheses, theories
together. This is one of these typical tasks that
seems like a good idea but never gets completed.

This is the job for a wiki.

This is just what I was about to suggest, but Xod beat me to it!

If you'd like, I have a (seldom-used) wiki at
http://www.loomcom.com/wiki, or I'd be happy to help set up another
wiki someplace else.

There's another seldom-used Voynich Wiki up at http://www.voynich.info/vmswiki/phiki.php?FrontPage I imagine there are differences in the features and capabilities of different Wiki implementations, but I don't know enough about them to comment. I occasionally use a Go-oriented wiki at http://senseis.xmp.net/ but I think the maintainers do a good deal of hacking to keep it relevant and customized.

Perhaps a more Wiki-literate person could comment on what it takes
for one to take off. That will include interested people, of course,
but what about the tool itself?
