Here I can't agree. Yes, his perseverance is
admirable and his demeanor w.r.t. Mrs. Voynich's
refusal to send more VMs copies is as well.
However, on his work, the magical number sequence 
(something like 01357975314741 - apologies if I got 
it wrong) appears out of nowhere and his plain
text cannot be defended.
