I can't remember having seen the Marci letter so
clearly before.
Did you ever see these pictures:

The same castle (Vilalta) seen in a 15th C
drawing and in a modern picture.
Yes, there are swallow-tail crenellations and
no, the similarity of the drawing with the
current castle is not so great...
