Re: VMs: New stars and what could or could not be in the VMs

Hi.

Looks to me like some sort of sky chart - different constellations in the four corners, with meteor showers? Comets?

But who knows - could be a record of four different groups of drinking companions.

So, he may well have had a lot of other original
ideas, and I would have nothing against the
suggestion that he may have wanted to show
the birth of a star or a planet or in fact the
universe somewhere in some of his illustrations.

Oh, I wouldn't rule out that the author had something like a Big Bang in mind
somewhere.

I just wanted to say that there's little to substantiate the claim that the
particular image on f67 depicts a supernova, and hence that there'd be a link
to 1572 or 1604.

For what it's worth, it might just as well be the author's view through a
caleidoscope.

Cheers,
