Re: VMs: Folios 85_86 Rosettes or Sephiroth

The unsettled alphabet I meant was the Voychinese one itself. EVA may be a
settled transcription tool, however the original character (single, paired,
what else?) set of the Vms is far from being an undisputed matter. Your
remark about being cautious with straightforward interpretation of
transcritpions surely applies.

"Actually, I think it was me who suggested that the 9 rosettes might
correspond to 9 code-wheels, with the contents of each wheel encoded within
the circular zodiac diagrams. FWIW, Steve now sees each code in terms of
tic-tac-toe boards - that *may* be the case, but Steve has to see that he
can't have the whole answer, or else he would be "1 of 1", not "1 of 12".
:-)"

Maybe I am wrong, please correct me, however I think that my earliest
messages to the list stressing a proposed meaning and the crucial relevance
of f85_86 date from June 2003. The notion that those folios could function
as a coding instrument is originally yours, from around August 2003(?), and
falls in compliance with my former(?) proposition. Those are the issues that
I was willing to make a bet at. The more attention is given on f85_86, the
earlier the Vms shall be cracked. Deciphering the Vms is probably the most
open and collective unofficial work of research of all times, and that not
so much faraway (my guess) pizza dinner should undoubtely credit and be
shared by everyone who partake in that effort.

Best,
JA
