The circle is divided into 8 clear segments. Four of these attach to the
centre cirle, the other four to the outer shape. The stars are enclosed
within the inner four segments. Now this seems to particularly relate to the
four seasons to my mind. The stars would be those that appear in the sky at
the times of the year. Much like the Egyptians mapped the sky with their
stories of the gods. This basically is a TO map of the sky. The spirals
representing the spin of the earth. Early astonomy IMO.
