Subject: VMs: "Running encoding" -- Used in period? Properties?

 Hello all,

Inspired by Steve's "Fold the vellum" paradigm, I wondered about some kind
of "running encoding" of any text. (Don't know if that's the right term -- I'll
 just call it that.)

[snip]

-=se=->

ARggGGggggg No NO NO , DON'T FOLD the (actual) vellum ((itself) that
is our
treasure here!)))..... the folded KEY /INDEX was taken years ago, but
the context is still available using the folded key.

Grab a (virgin) single sheet of paper ( & fold that) please. (thanks
:-))

(scheme or no scheme) : one just draws either a TTT (tic.tac.Toe
board) : prepare to READ it in the following sequence

312
4*8
756

OR:

IF that does not suite your fancy,( mental CLICK etc ) then,
Look at EACH vms character as a pointer (positioner) object.

FOLD on the encountered "gallows" - follow the structure.

Each can have 8 different positions - THAT IS ALL! :-)

glyphs are ALL stand alone (well, ok I'm just: only 1 of 12 ~rats!~)

use characters to POINT to your KEY! * SIMPLE * ABC (actually more
like the WHOLE ALPHABETE (whatever languge) and parsed to of a 2 part
(mirrored) key page.

NO ONE SHOULD TOUCH or FOLD THE ORIGINAL VELLUM OF THIS VMS!
(needed for our org. source)

It *IS* a _running encoding!_ SEE the FLOW?

best to you & yours
-=se=-
steve (over my head here now - good luck all) ekwall :-)

p.s. the ~WiErEd~ looking characters are because they "point" to areas
on the pre=existing TTT KEY (what that key is I don't know... but , IT
IS . (i'm told /perES) SIMPLE! (what ever language). FWIW
